Robert Levit brings years of experience to Khoury Levit Fong. Before joining this firm he won numerous competitions and awards for institutional , residential, and urban design projects. He began his professional design experience in the office of Álvaro Siza and has worked in Boston, Los Angeles, and New York on projects that range from interiors to large projects of urbanism. He has taught at Harvard University, University of Michigan and is now the director of the Master of Urban Design Program at the University of Toronto where he has been since 2002. Levit is particularly interested in the relationship between social goals and urban form and has conducted research for the Province of Ontario linked to their American Planning Association award winning Growth Plan. At another scale he focuses upon the increasingly important relationship between architecture and parametric design .
